M.C. started rapping and writing at an early age. Listening to 8 ball and MJG inspired him to write his first rap. He began traveling to California. He was awarded a big opportunity when he got a chance to promote for singer/songwriter Teedra Moses. "I was inspired by her drive and studio etiquette." Mdot began writing his own music and recorded his 1st 16 bars in Cali.. After a while most people around him noticed that his rhymes were no joke.
